Inactive for search?

What does Inactive for search means? What I'm guessing right now is there are 2 types of advertisement.

    1) Search: Shown in Google search queries
    2) Content: Shown in websites using Adsense

I have a few questions regarding this since I am still new.

    1) Does the charge gets added up by the end of every month or so and they charge you all together or does it charge you everyday for how much you use?

    2) After the daily budget is reached, would my Ads still be shown in searches and contents?

    Thanks for those who help.

I can answer tosome of your questions:

    1) exact
    2) exact

However, there is more type of advetissement:

    Site targeted, Search network.

when you start, turn of the Content, and just stick to the search, because content ads are notoften clicked, and your quality score will go down.

I learned that the hard way.

Be sure to check the adwords learning center. You can do that from inside your account.

it is charge at least every 30 days or when it reach a value, read this to understand how it works:

no, the campaign will obvious pause when reach it until the next day.

No, the content network CTR% do not affect the search network CTR and will not affect your Quality Score.

Read this notice on the bottom of any of your adgroups:

try writing very relevant ads. high CTR = low bid

Try also writing 3 ~ 6 ads per adgroups. Google you pick the higher CTR ad automatically.
