In which category should I put my site?

    I'm currently working on an online game about celebrities. My question is: in which category should I put this site? "Celebrities" (if the directory has one - for example Yahoo! doesn't seem to have this category) or "Games" ?!?

    Any help really really appreciated... ;)

    That's ok for free directories - but what if I would like to add my site to Yahoo! or BOTW?

    Well I'd choose games, because celebrity sites are usually about rumors, pics etc :)

    The best advice I can give you is, Do Not submit to any of the major search engines.

    Submit like crazy to directories, include your site in your sig line here and they will find you.

    I would also think that games is the correct catagory for your site... b/c although your game is about a celebrity I would think it more appropriately fits in the games catagory.

    Words from a guy who knows his way around, good advice Colbyt:)

    Listing with smaller directories get you seen more easily and as nearly all the directories are SEO your link will be up on the search engines very quickly

    Well guys, thank you so much for your replies!

    I think you are all right, the "Games" category is the way to go - also because I run a monthly contest where the "best" user of the month can win Amazon gift certificates.
