    Hallo,
    I'm new with the Google API and as far as I understand from the Google Developers web site, You do have to pay for the Google API but in what cases?

    If I install it on my web site - Do I have to pay for it?

    You need to pay if you are crossing the Quota limit set by Google. You can visit the Google API Console and select Services to see what courtesy limit has been setup for each of the Google Data API.

    If you are crossing the limit you have to pay.

    In most case if you are only use Google API for your small and medium business, there is no need for you to purchase it. But if the courtesy limit is reached, then you should purchase for more. Check out their pricing, it is reasonable.
