People in more recent times have popularized raw food as a diet trend. The benefits are: 1) Slower ageing, clear skin, better health etc. Do you believe in this diet and to what extent?
I don't believe in the diet but raw vegetables and fruits are much better for you as the nutients have not been cooked out.
you mean raw as in uncooked or raw as in organic, not processed. no question the latter is healthier.
Raw (uncooked) food has way more nutrients. As soon as many foods are cooked over a certain temp, they start losing most of their 'goodness'. It's worth going to a really good raw food restaurant at least once (yes even for you meat eaters!), the food is tasty. I bet timsdd looked in this thread thinking it was about RAW. I know I did
