.in and .cn are probably the most popular, but the .cn extension is starting to get a bad name due to spamming, sort of like the .info extension. Since the .in extension is more expensive to regged, .in is the best way to go and will be very, if not the most, popular cctld.

I think .cn actually had the highest rate of spam per the reports of May/June 2008...more than .info. Anyway, the .in extension is indeed growing fast. It's doing rather well in the aftermarket too. It's basically the only cctld I see requested in domain forums on a daily basis...consistently. .
.cn is biggest, but not the best, it's too difficult to exchange. I think .in will be the best cctld, anyone can register and exchange it.
