We are in search of an SEO expert / business partner to further develop my cable business and grw that business withing the US. The compensation will be based on a % of growth over where we are now and that % will be a % of increase in net profit over the previous 12 months of sales.

We need a professional that knows their craft and has the ability and confidence to take this project on and for your compensation, the sky is the limit as far as how well you progress the web business with your seo skills.

The web site and business is http://www.netcablesplus.com

We are going to be picky and selective in our search for the right professional because we are looking for a business partner and not someone to do grunt work.

Serious individuals only need to contact me with your resume - you must have a demonstrated track record of growing web businesses via SEO and have impeccible referrences that will attest to your stellar skill set.

    Thanks for your time.

MODS - if this is not posted in the proper category - please relocate this message. thank you.

I think this category is fine, but you might get some more responses in the Services section as well.

May I ask what kind of numbers were looking at (obviously approximately) for payment.

As stated in the job search, we are looking for a seasoned and experienced seo veteran - for example - if the web business grows an additional 200k net over the last 12 month period and we find an seo partner at 15% of that net growth - that would be 30k. The payout percentage would be based on net profit growth. The partnership would be ongoing and the seo work would be continual. If the business grows an additional 500k net over the previous year then the compensation would be $75k.

    thanks for asking.

SEO is ultimately for the purpose of ROI, but that's not exactly what SEO is. Shouldn't it be based on rankings at SERPs?? Whether you get profit or not, if the ranking is not a direct reason for the reword, I don't see a point of SEO.

ranking and seo should directly relate to increased profit and more sales - this job pays exponentially on increasing profits. If you can do that then you will be compensated well.

Actually Cool is quite correct... we would be taking liability in our pay based on YOUR ability to convert said visitors...

That's not how it works... SEO is about Rankings.. NOT conversions M8. I am a seasoned SEO Vet and Web business developer since 1998.... I know I wouldn't touch it, why would I? Such risk? I am a Vet and as such have work coming out my Ying and my Yang - any SEO Veteren would be the same... you don't become a Veteren without a strong ongoing client base and sales....

This is more an offer for a rookie or 'up and coming' SEO star... not the established variety

That is right, cause what if the usability of the site is not good enough to convert? what if the price is not competetive enough to convert?

The gypsy has it right. If you want an experienced SEO, get in line & be prepared to pay. Top SEO's get more "partnership" offers than Carter has little pills. No decent SEO is going to risk his paycheck on your inabilty to sell. If you have $75K in your marketing budget, save yourself about 50% by contracting a top level firm, straight up.
