    ...buying expired domains related to your industry (but not your content specifically) and pointing them to your website? I'm using a 301 permanent redirect. I figure you can gain some benefit from those domains with an existing PageRank. Thanks.

    301 Redirect transmit all the things which are connected with domain like number of backlinks and the power of the site to each keywords,but do not look at the Page Rank because it does not gain aby benefits in SERP.
