OK, so I posted in another section of the forum that I was thinking about creating WP themes for sale. I'm not certain if this design will be for sale, but I decided to jump in and start building one.

It's kind of a dark theme, and I"m not sure if I want to stick with it being so dark, might do a light version of it too. I'm also thinking I will end up using a different font (possibly a different one for the headers and paragraphs), but I'm really not sure which. Probably best to at least include a few alternative stylesheets.
I'll probably do both 1, 2 and 3 column versions.

The mountain jungle image is just filler, won't go in the final one, that will just be a place for an image of the user's choice, or possibly a slideshow (probably JQuery).
It's still a little generic, but with themes that are going to be sold maybe that is for the best? I could definitely make it have a more distinct style, but I don't want to go too far with that either.
This is just a rough draft, and only an image, I only worked on it for a bit over an hour, so I know it has a long ways to go, but it's a start.
Any advice for what direction to go with this is welcome.

Also I will likely make the coffee bean background optional, since I don't want to limit this to just being a theme for a coffee blog necessarily.

I'll post more designs as I start doing them.

    EDIT

I just started working on a basic static HTML version, once I finally get that to the point where I'm happy with it I'll start creating a WordPress version.
