In & Out Of top 5 on Google Serps

    Hi,
    I've got a site that seems to be flitting in and out of the top 5 results for its keywords.
    Is this normal? I've never seen it b4.

    Google SERPs in some of my keywords are changing a lot frequently lately. Well in some keywords they are very stable in rankings. It depends on the keywords you are targetting. Yes, its always normal to have these changes.

    Just means your pulling results from different Google data centers (there are hundreds). When Google is testing things or updating an alogorithm, you'll see differences in the various data centers. Nothing too unusual about that. For example, here are a couple different data centers that are putting out difference results:

    http://66.249.93.104
    http://64.233.179.104

    The domain is over a year old.
    It ranked in top 6 for about 6 months - then fell dramatically - I assume it was sandboxed - not banned as it is a legit blog.
    About 1 month ago it was back on page 1 for a couple of days.
    Now it is going in and out of top 5 - And #1 on google.com.au.
