well I kind of got that....as the title stated I was looking for general advice so I could get some ideas and decide what I would like to do...I'm not looking for someone to hand me a golden ticket....

 

Affiliate marketing, writing an e-book and selling it, writing a hardcopy book and selling it to bookstores, starting a content site, like, say, Askmen, and selling advertising space....

On and on and on and on....

You're stalling, procrastinating. You already know what is out there.

Only you can decide which one you want to start first.

 

learn as much as you can about ppc..and realize that alot of money can be made with forum marketing and writing articles

At the end of the day, it takes hard work to create income from the web. Its like anything else, there's a lot of people already doing it. That said, it is still a lot like the wild west - if you can find an underserved market, you'll strike gold. If you don't, you may still make a decent income anyway. Worst case, and if you write about something you love, you'll at least have had fun, and maybe you've learned a lot too.

Weigh the risk-reward benefits, sacrifice (to a point since you are a DAD), and don't be afraid to call it quits. Many a winner has come from a couple of losers. A winner cuts his losses and moves on. That's the difference between the two. Don't quit too soon, though - success takes time.
