I'm looking for a good alternate to adsense, ideally one that is CPM instead of CPC. I run a forum so CPC just doesn't work to well, and I don't target high paying keywords or anything. I usually get about 3-4k views per day but only 1-2 clicks, if any, which are worth only a few cents. I have already tried adbrite, Value Click, Burst, Tribal Fusion, and CPX. All of them except adbrite turned me down, and adbrite doesn't give me any CPM ads, and their price per click is even worse than adsense. My site is http://supersmashbc.com if that matters.
Yeah your niche is kind of tough to make much out of. If you can't get much from Adsense, other CPC programs won't yield much either.
Fka200, I said in my initial post I had already tried adbrite and it was terrible. I am going to try combining ADSDAQ with adsense, possibly with adsense referrals. I really like the way ADSDAQ works and their ideas, the only thing is whether they have enough advertisers yet.
I have tried 5 or 6 "alternatives" (see my sig below). They are now gone from my pages. The time required, and the frustration that results, has gotten me to the point where I don't want to waste my time trying anything else. It is a lot of work trying different programs. Even when people rave about new programs (widgetbucks, for instance), I am not about to try it. I notice that people aren't raving about widgetbucks anymore. I have learned to be a late adapter, and let others do the beta tests. Nothing measures up to AdSense. Their inventory and targeting are fantastic. Yahoo pays about the same per ad, and is pretty stable, but the targeting is abysmal, resulting in extremely low CTR. But they don't serve you adult ads, when you don't want them, or steal your commissions.

Ok, thanks. ADSDAQ is not going to work for me. I understand that Adsense is the best, but my site just isn't designed for CPC. I guess I will just stick with it until I can meet the higher traffic of some of the good CPMs
Actually, I was going to take ADSDAQ off my forum, since they weren't even showing up half the time, when I realize I am still getting 3 times what I do from adsense. I think I will stick with them for at least a few more days. I can put up with not having ads half the time(my site looks better without them) if I'm making twice as much! lol
