I charge $.20 - $.30 per word, but I have written several quality ebooks. If you want a good ebook, you will be spending more than $100. If you want a sub-par ebook $100 is a sufficient budget. Please PM me and I could probably work out a deal for you and get you a sample of my writing if you would like.
By the way, 1000 words doesn't really make it into an ebook. Most ebooks are well over 20k and I have written about 16k in just a few days, 1k is only enough for about 2 pages, so it's not really an ebook at all...
thank you all for your comments on this subject. I given it a lot of tought and decided to wait a little and raise at least $300 for this book.
