In how many days, we can expect a link back to our website?

As the title says, I wanted to know that, say today I did blog posting or forum posting using "Anchor Text" in keywords. Now in how may days I can expect a link back from there.

I tried searching this on Google, but unfortunately come up with nothing so I created a thread. Hope this will clear my doubt.

At the same day, even the second you have got the backlink. The question might be when google will calculate your site PR ?

 

You can expect to see a backlink from that site as soon as Google has re-crawled the page where you submitted your link. In other words, it varies.

 

When google crawls that page it updates your inbound links !

 

google doesn't update backlinks on a daily basis. it can take google 2+ months to update the backlinks. idea is to keep building backlinks and over time, they will show.

 

Normally, it takes 7 days.

 

It does happen pretty quickly but with the new updates you do not get full credit for a link until it has aged. I think full maturity is 3 months to get a full value for a link. this is to help keep down the gobs of spam that kill the internet.

 

It depends when Google crawls that site from where you got backlink.
