In house VS outsource.

Am thinking of getting a place and start hiring local programers, designers and managers to start developing my sites and hopefully to have a team of atleast 30 people managing many projects. Am getting kind of tired of dealing with people online (outsource help) and I can't do everything myself, not that I can't but am not the type of person that does the monkey work. Anyone here that has experience with this? let me know, thanks!

i think you should rent some commercial land, close to 1000sq ft,
make an office there, get some comps...and get going
you could make your own web development office in there...lol

I think you need some advise, trainings how to manage the growing business. Hire a consultant who will look at your business from independent point of view and suggest how to optimize your business processes. May be you should delegate more work to the other persons and just work on important issues of your business.

I use rentacoder and have never had an issue with subpar work... but I am also particular about whom I select, ie people with a good track record and usually not the lowest bidder.
