In great needs of help in getting more traffics

Fellow Winners in DP,

I need help in my case.
I have a website with a CTR of around 10 - 30% (Yes it is huge)
But the problem is there is not enough visitors coming.

Like 20 a day So embarassing.
My site is informative weblog with around 10-20 pages.

Please help. I need your advice and guides and tips..

At the moment, I am looking for a way to improve traffic, not CTR, thus I am not going to mention my website link as it is against Google TOS

 

Try building links. I am working on my traffic very hard but I can hardly get any organic traffic at all.

I'm wishing that after a while Google will like my blog also.

Ah yes Pipes.

So far for each post that I've made, I put them to social bookmarking. Like 20+ of social bookmark sites.
I also put them in a press-release website.

Apart from that.. well.. that's all I guess.
I've tried Reciprocal links. It doesn't really help.
However, in a few cases I notice that my visitor is coming from a website that I dont know (and sometimes they click as well.. )

 

Try submitting to free web directories.

 

SEO and getting your site listed in the first page of google results for the particular key word may makes difference.

 

You can put your website link on your signature.

 

I have put them in dMOZ (or whatever the name) and I dont get any visitors from there.
Should I try the 1000+ directories offer?

I was once in the first page of google results.

I have to admit, because of me 2 factors.. time and me doing experiment, it seems my website has been 'drowned' in the Google result. I dont know whether this is because of the penalty or time.

Suppose:

1. It's because of the penalty
Is it possible to return to first page?

2. It's because of the time
Then, I guess I have to put more content and pages, yes?

 

Should I place my content to more Press Release?

 

Commenting on other peoples sites helps a lot. But requires a lot of time.
