In google but where to go next

    Well I have a Wordpress blog and at the moment it is going very well.
    The first hour of making it, it had recieved many hits.

    It's listings in google were quite impressive to thanks to the permalinks in wordpress.

    My next problem is how to actually expand it and get everyone to know about it.

    What I do..

    Is submit your sitemap to Google as well .. grab the Google wordpress plugin and drop it into your plugins dir and then when the sitemap is "made" .. just go to google webmaster tools and look for the site map section. Then upload it and it will verify you site with a code.

    These are the steps i have undertaken:

    - installed a sitemap plugin for wordpress
    - Added my site to google webmasters and added my sitemap
    - added my sitemap and feed to yahoo
    - pinged sitemap to ask

    - I have tried to add a lot of content to get more hits

    The thing i don't know what to do is to comment on other blogs as it is a form of advertising and what websites to exchange links with, directories? what ones?
