.IN domains - any restrictions?

I know with some domain extensions, such as .US, you have to be resident in certain countries to register/use them - I'm in the UK and just wondering if there are any restrictions in place for .IN domains?

For .in domains there are no such restrictions. Although they are a lot more expensive than a dot com.
