Anyone know where can i find the .in domain...

i look for it and it's only for $ 16 anyone know any place for cheap.. ? thanx

If the .co.in domain is available then go for it - its only $8.99 and most major companies use .co.<country domain extension> instead of just .<country domain extension>.

You can get in domain on quite cheap rate from candidinfo.com, net4domains.com, webcomindia.com normally 700 to 800 INR

 

try net4domains.com you can buy domains within 500 INR

True. So far not come across .in domains for less than $15.

 

yeah its anywhere from $8.99 and over, i think godaddy is the best becaz they provide domain at $1.99 (any domain) with a non -domain purchase which is a combo deal,thanx

 

Godaddy's $1.99 registration scheme is only aplicable for .com, .us, .biz, .info, .name, .net, or .org domain registration. Not for .in domain.

Also additional $0.25 is required per domain registration making it $2.24 per domain(+ fee for aditional service).

 

Doesnt GoDaddy's scheme apply only if you get a hosting package ?

 

Not just hosting, but all other non domain services like fax thru email, traffic blazer etc.

Hey check webcomindia.com for cheap .in domains. I found their site very attractive in terms of price. I send them an email enquiring the same and got a reply in just 2 hours.

I found the lowest price ever of under 10$ for .in domain at domain199.com .
Haven't tried it. If anybody else wanna have a go, share your experiences.

In INR, the .in domain is Rs 399 (1$ ~ 44 Rs - Close to 9$)
and .co.in is 199 Rs (close to 4.5$)

 

Oops.. sorry.. its a catch.. I couldn't try to make a domain purchase alone.. you need to select hosting to complete the purchase..
