In-Content Links & Building an AUTHORITY Site

OK, this forum is pretty dead as far as really good advice goes, so I'm going to drop some simple knowledge that some of you guys may not know yet.

When you're focusing on linkbuilding for an AUTHORITY site, focus on building links within the content of relevant, authority sites in your niche. What do I mean by AUTHORITY? Authority sites are sites that can stand the test of time, despite updates from Google, despite algorithm changes, despite competitors entering the market, etc. You all should be focusing on building authority sites.

How do you get in-content links? Here's one way: Guest blog posts. Use tools like ahrefs to spy on your competitors backlinks, take a look at the blogs they have links on, and contact the webmaster of those blogs. Ask the webmaster if you could do a free guest blog post on their site, and include a link back to yours. If it's a really good site, consider paying for it. You should get a good response rate, because who doesn't like free content?

The posts must be quality, though. If you're able to pump out 2-4 guest posts per month on QUALITY blogs, you should be golden.

By the way, I do coaching in PPC and SEO, so if any of you would like a mentor (for an hourly rate), I have a few spots open. I only coach HARD WORKERS, so please do not PM me if you're going to slack off.

    That's it. Any questions?

I wouldn't call this any new or great advice you've mentioned. You need to build contextual links weather your building an authority site or not.
As far as being "golden" with 2-4 guest posts per month on QUALITY blogs is not correct. It all depends on the strength of your competition. With some competition 2-4 blogpost might not even scratch the surface.

Links from AUTHORITY sites .... too difficult, AUTHORITY sites have good ranking, traffic and page rank .... if you need link on such sites means you have same theme, and you are the competitor ... nobody will give link to their competitor

so still we need to take links for sites that are for only link exchange ... one or two pages site

That's not true at all. It's called developing relationships with fellow site owners. I know from experience that competitors will have no problem working with you if you go out of your way to develop some sort of friendship.

the proble is not so many webmasters owning one huge authority site want to bother replying your email which ask if you can do some guest blogging on their websites. unless, you have a very nice offering for the webmasters, guestblogging won't work. correct me if i'm wrong

Blogging is a grind, and most solo-bloggers love taking guest submissions because it means they can satisfy their readers without having to write themselves that day.

    Great.

Somebody comes on here - gives some good, solid advice and what happens ................?

A load of people crawl out of the woodwork and start saying "I don´t think this will work" "This will happen" etc. etc. but do they offer any proof? No!!

Why are people here so negative?
