I’m new with CB, got some questions..
When I look at Analytics reports in My Account, in a table what exactly is meant by “hops”? I understand that it is most likely a gross number of hits with my ID#, even if it is the same visitor banging on a same link several times in a row.

Is there any way to get some deeper analysis of visitors? like:
    • unique visitors (who are getting a CB cookie with my id# for the first time)
    • returning visitors with my id# in a cookie
    • a visitor with someone else’s id# in a cookie

    thanks.

how about returning visitors who have bookmarked the publisher's page?

i have noticed that my statcounter is showing less exit links to CB than i have hops in CB analytics (CB shows ~50% more hops). i have only one page with CB links, so it is easy to monitor. wondering what might be a reason..

It's possible that some spiders are hitting your hoplinks directly. It's also possible that buggy connection will cause request to be resent and hop counted twice. What is the absolute value of the difference (number of hops rather then percent)?
