We recently took a Flash video player design that we developed and use internally and packaged free and for-pay public versions. What I am trying to determine is whether its key feature really has any appeal and, if so, what the potential applications might be. Put simply, it is a Flex/AS3 player that can download a set of separate Flash video clips, apply mark-in and mark-out to each individual clip and re-assemble them into a seamless virtual video - in the flash player in the client's browser. All of this is done at the direction of Javascript - so theoretically, viewers could view a custom-edited video each time the page is loaded. We use it for eLearning and obviously we need it. But we are still trying to figure out if there are any other major use cases or if it is just our toy. I am actually more interested in feedback and insights than purchases (of course we won't turn these away). FYI website: www.cosolvent.biz
