So, Analytics leaves alot open to interpretation....but in the VISITS column, I see 10,500. Is this the number of VISITS PER DAY? OR WEEK? OR MONTH? And is a "BOUNCE RATE" of 69.76% considered good or bad? Thank you!
By default Google Analytics shows the result for a month but if you want to see the result of particular date than you need to choose the date and for this a section is available on the top of right side. You site bounce rate is not considered as good. try to make it low.
Thank you on that Guarav....is there a set of steps or a technique, in order to gert that "bounce rate" lower? How would I start on that?
You have to work on your content or relevance, or both. A "bounce" is when a visitor hits the back button after reaching your website (it can be calculated on a page level, too). So obviously the people who reach your website think it's not relevant to them, or your content it's not of value.
A bounce occurs when a web site visitor only views a single page on a website and leaves a site without visiting any other pages. To reduce the bounce rate of your site you need to keep few thing in your mind they are: Good quality and informative content Improve web page Loading Times Site design Proper and Effective Internal Linking Avoid Intrusive Pop-ups and Registration
Really all these steps is too impotent for reduce bounce rate on website mostly content is most impotent think It should be unique and knowledgeable. Thanks for sharing this info with us.
Check your site in all browsers (browser compatibility) for working properly or not. Increase the page speed, try to avoid flash or larger size images.
