In Adwords how to you set it to just pay per click, not cpm?

When i first signed up for adwords i had an adwords voucher and was given some discount where all i paid was $.05 a click. i just launched a new campaign and it only lets me pay CPM, my ctr is around 2% but i want to see if its possible to just pay per click (than i can spend more on adwords etc).


if you know how to get to discount advertising, or just CPC at alll please let me and the other members of DP know!

When you setup the campaign it asks you which you would like to do. Are you doing site targeted campaigns or keyword targeted? You need to do keyword targeted campaigns to pay per click.

 

It's only PPC unless you specifically enter the Site targetting details. If you don't click any Site Targetting links, you won't be paying CPM.

you can do image ads in either.
