Hello.. for ex. we have site related " Rudraksh" to increase the traffic , how many times this word " Rudraksh" should have to come in web page? in title - ? in description - ? and mainly in keyword - ?
it depends on the number of word on that page. for every 100 wrods, you may use your keyword like 3 to 4 times. not more!
waxman1000 is right, it's the keyword density which matters, not the number of keywords. There is no hard and fast rules for this, but usually it's recommended to have keyword density <2% (5-6% maximum). General guideline - the text should read naturally.
To find keyword density, which tool will be effective ? can you suggest me.. and can we find it manually ?
Hi, About 3 to 4% keyword density is good according to SEO. As you can see in above post that you can use 3 to 4 keywords per 100 words. I will suggest your same thing in other way. Try to put 2 to 3 keywords or keywords phrases in one paragraph. Thanks
Definitely worry about your readers too when you are putting keywords into your paragraphs. Read your own post to see if you find it annoying to see the word so many times. Most importantly is that you have the keyword in the post title.
From my personal experience, I find 2.5%-5%... but the key, like others have said, is to make the text sound natural. If the person who reads it is annoyed by the overuse of the keyword, they will not stay on your website or return to it. After writing your article using your keyword, read it back, and if it is an enjoyable read and not over saturated with your keyword, you have a keeper! Good luck!
Well there is no harm in keyword density upto 10% also but also make sure you have back links as well with the same keywords as anchor text because either only onpage or only offpage wont help, you need to have both
Use the keyword in Title, Descripton and meta keywords.. According to Major Search engine's guidelines, the percentage of keywords used in a web page is 3-4%. you can use more than that, but it's recommended to use only in limits. Cheers, Kranthi.
3% to 4% is right, but be aware how to use your keywords! What most copywriters don't know! The use of the <h1,2,3,4> tag, bold, links... Using good keyword density is important, but how they are used, and overall text content, i think more important. Cheers!
Use it at least 3 times across an article of 500 words or so. Keep the density to about 3% - 5% anything above will make the article unreadable and annoying to read in the first place.
It's the density that's important. I find it easier to ensure a stable and preferable density with company sites, and less so with blogs due to their rather dynamic nature.
Don't bother about keyword density - all these numbers (2%, 3-4%, etc. are intuitive guesses, nothing more). Just write naturally so that the text reads well, roughly any keyword repeated 2-3 times per paragraph should be fine. With regard to kw density - install seoQuake plugin for Firefox (just search Google for seoQuake plugin, it's easy to find)
