Anyone that uses Blogger for their blogging needs knows that it is near impossible to dynamically create unique Meta Tags for each page. The old way creating unique Meta Tags was to go to the page of the post save it and change the meta tags, then go into your FTP and upload the page again. This works until... You republish the blog then the default meta tags for the blogs home page are put on every page again. Problem Solved! Put the code below directly (minus the br tags) above the <$BlogMetaData$> tag, replacing all other meta tags. Take out the damn br tags that blogger keeps adding to my post. Now each page of your blog will create unique Title, Description and Keyword tags. If you only want to have a unique Title just copy the first section of the code. If you only want to have a unique Description copy the second section of the code. If you only want to have a unique Keyword copy the second section of the code. If you have any questions post them here and I will get back to you. Below is a video I created to give a better idea how to add the meta tags to your blog.
I recently created a blog in Blogger and find out that meta tags are written as subtitle below the title tag. You can check the blog link below for reference. http://irisoverseas.blogspot.com/
He can't give you a video because its copy and paste from one blog I can't remember for sure, but I think it doesn't work. Unique titles do, but description not
hi buddy,it's not a Meat Tag...to let you be able to eat meat It's tags that tell search spiders what your site is about...
WOW. 1) A copy paste from another blog 2) Old information which doesnt work. FYI, this old method will not work anymore since blogger now only accept XML templates unless you are using blogger classic templates on FTP. So give it up and dont copy paste from other sites.
One thing i will never understand, Doesn't google own blogger?? If so why haven't they fixed these errors from their end? Also i ran one of my blogs through w3c validation and was hit with a massive list of errors. I thought it was my mistake to begin with, however i created a brand new blog from blogger templates and bammm. I was hit again with the errors. Google should sort themselves out. They are telling us to conform but it doesn;t seem to me like the give a sh*T
I just wanted to say thanks for this code, I have been looking all over the place for a FTP blogger. All the other code was for bloggers using blogspot.com. I recently got penalized due to this looking like duplicate title tags with in blogger. I noticed it puts the blog title on the end of the your actual post, I assume this would not be considered duplicate content either would it ??
Nice post man , thanks for sharing it . I will do some changes in my codes of blogger template and make it new again .
Hey Cool Man Thanks. I tried this before with some one else tips but failed since blogger removed some of the old tags. I will try these for sure. Thanks. edit: grrr that is why every one says read the top posts first. many are complaining this is old tip/trick and does not work huh? I gave you green without reading them. give it back.
