    Hi all,

I am working at developing a Firefox extension that should be of interest to many webmasters.

The goal is to provide an alternative way to SEO for increasing traffic and site attractivity.

The idea is to allow webmasters without any knowledge in Mozilla development to create their own customized Firefox extension to give to users for pushing site news directly to the user's browser. All of this as a 5 minutes work without seeing any line of code.

The resulting extension will be totally free.

I am looking for webmasters to give ideas and opinions, and also for testing the resulting software (first version scheduled for 2-3 weeks).

If you are interested and want to know more, send me a message via PM.

    Thanks.

    Hi all,

I am happy to announce that version 1.0 of the Subtile Firefox extension has just been released.

It allows any webmaster without knowledge of mozilla internal developement to provide his own customized extension to users.

This is an ideal way to bring directly to your user's browser:
    - the sitemap of your site
    - any news relevant to your community
    - advertizer's data feed
    - adsense-sponsored searches
    - many other useful stuff

The extension is accessible through site http://www.subtile.net/ .
I will appreciate your comments and suggestions.

Here are a couple of examples of how the Subtile firefox extension can be used for a community
    of users: http://www.subtile.net/examples.php

In the first example, the visitors of site www.downloadhelper.net are interested in amateur videos.
The tool allows them to create their own menu configuration to monitor YouTube or DailyMotion
for some particular expressions. Whenever a new video is uploaded matching the user's topic,
the icon gets animated and the user can easily visit the video page. The tool can also be used
to monitor new popular videos or latest video sites at downloadhelper.net

The second example addresses the Mozilla addons developers. The user gets notified whenever
a new comment is posted on one of their addons.

You can certainly build easily your own menu to match your visitors' interests and bring
them back often to your site.

And by the way, this is a free service.
