"improving quality rating"

i changed a couple keywords around, and received this message a couple hours later:

My bids on these words are just under $1, so it's not like i'm throwing 2 cents at them.

    google's explanation:

I don't want to increase my payment on these, as it's not worth the ROI to do so, so that leaves the quality rating.

How does one imprive "qaulity rating" and what exactly does this mean?

For reference, the ad is for a local forum site, and all 3 keywords are for local bars/club names.

search the help in how to improve your "Quality Score" of your keywords.

You may see that you need to improve your CTR% by writing better Ads

So if people don't click my ads, they charge me more?

After being an adwords publisher for a long time, i'm amazed i ever made money off this system. Adwords is one big joke form my experience with it.

Oh well, only a couple bucks gone. but i'm pulling my account.

    No,

if people click more on your ads they will charge you less. (per click) :)

Is all about CTR% if you have a very good CTR% they will show more your ads, so you will get more traffic and they will charge you a little bit less then your max bid.

Write better ads to get more traffic and pay less per click.

That's the problem, I CANT write a better ad.

I'm sure I could, but it wouldn't have anything to do with my site.

    here follows follows my method:

Write 6 ads and after 50~100 clicks, you evaluate the better CTRs one and deletes the worst ones so you write other ads based one the best one.

Paste you ad here so I can try to help in writing some better ad.
