Does anybody know of any good legitimate places to submit your site to in order to improve inbound links/popularity to increase page rank?
Actually, I'd start by improving your site's internal linking architecture if possible. Each page on your Web site has its own PageRank (remember, PAGES, not sites, have PageRank - whenever someone mentions "I have a PR6 link available" they're really saying more often than not that their home page has a PR 6, not the page they'll be putting your link on), so the bset way to start improving the PageRanks of the pages on your site is to inter-link them together (appropriately of course). Then, start looking around for Web sites that are related to yours that you could solicit a link from (such as by requesting an honest review of your site on their blog, getting mentioned in an endorsement, or whatnot; these are by no means the ONLY ways, of coruse; just two, and they tend to work best with content sites).
Hi, If u want to improve ur website PR then submitted it to different directories those give back link response early & these kind of directory mainly paid. So, go for paid directories it will help u ,i hope so.thanks
True, but starting out links from other sites are more important. Your not passing much link juice around within your site if you don't have any inbound links.
Yep. It will help much more to get backlinks from high PR sites, but as far as I know no backlinks will actually hurt your PR.. its also a good idea to have backlinks from related websites.
Strong as in what? Strong as a five year old trying to pull a Mack truck with his teeth? I doubt it. Those are some of the WEAKEST links you can get, right along with most directory submissions. I'll have to respectfully disagree. You never know where those incoming links will be pointing to, so the sooner you can inter-link your pages, the sooner you can start building that link juice. And remember, even pages from within your own site will pass PageRank; if you can set up a good internal linking structure, you'll be able to see some good results from the internal links alone. Not great, but not bad either. It's definately worth the effort necessary to put into it.

That's correct, any links which are not nofollow, though, it's not good to have back links from porn, gambling, casino websites.
just Don't Create Bad Neighborhood with your site and create quality links with do follow. if google will find better quality in your web pages than you can get easily page rank and site links in google for your site. Thanks John

My website Binding Designs, LLC has PR3 on the home page, but none of the other pages has PR information available. I get about 0 traffic to my site from the search engines and if I do, it is for some strange keyword combination. For the reviews, I have a Blog that I would be happy to trade reviews with. My blog is linked to from my PR3 web page. I would like reviews for any of my Blog, Binding Designs, LLC site, or my Random Thoughts website. I will give back up to three reviews for a review of each.
