I made a post in the "Reputation" thread about itrader (read here). This is what really needs improving, in my opinion. I'm sure other people conduct business because of a thread outside of B/S/T or because of something mentioned in PM. While incorporating PM related business might be difficult, why not allow its usage for threads in other sections of the site? Maybe it's a bad idea, maybe not. But I thought I'd post this anyway. And also encourage its usage. Some people are apprehensive about using it due to the fact the other person is likely to give a bad rep back. An example of this is Notting's thread. I've read in other threads though where people have made posts being ripped off, yet they haven't used itrader to leave negative feedback. This really suggests that an improvement is needed in order to make people feel more secure about using it. And more awareness about it (or did I miss a section on itrader under FAQs/Rules?) would be great, too, so people understand it better. I'm a bit stuck on how to suggest to improve it: due to it being an add-on to forum posts, it's difficult for the system to establish exactly who is legitimately the seller, but maybe other people have better ideas. I guess a complete auction script integrated with vbulletin is outside the scope of what Shawn wants to do? Although, I think, if people read the related thread then they should get a good idea about whether the comment is legitimate, or not. What are other people's thoughts on itrader? How do you think it can be improved?
