Improving alexa ranking of my website

    Alaxa rank is not so important as well as accurate. So ignore that article.
    If you want to work for more traffic, then research on SERP rank of your site for few most useful keywords, and link building.
    Also you would like to refer Blogs, News and Tips on AffiliateVote website.

    There is really little point in boosting your alexa rank. Focus on traffic and increasing your rankings in the SERPs :)

    1. Target visitors who most likely have Alexa toolbar installed.
    2. Install Alexa Widget on your site.
    3. Some people say that a backlink to Alexa from your site, improves Alexa rank.
    4. Alexa rank mainly is determined on amount of traffic.

    For improving Alexa ranking you can follow these steps
    1) Regularly submit fresh & unique content (at least twice weekly)
    2) Decrease the bounce rate (create a forum, live chat etc). Bounce rate meaning Just visiting one web page then leave the website. It's not good.
    3) Focus on Onpage optimization (meta tags, inner linking bold, head, footer optimization etc. Remove flash, bulk components).
    4) More visits to your website also increase Alexa rank. So promote through social media.
    If you do it, surely you will get top position in Alexa rank, you can also buy traffic from sites like SEOclerks at cheap rates.
