    Will Gas Prices Reach $6?
will gas prices rise even higher?
Vote and receive a $250 gas card!

    And these are my keywords

    free gas
    free gas card
    free giftcard
    freebies coupon
    gas card
    gas coupon
    gas giftcard
    gas prices
    gas savings
    receive gas card
    save gas
    ...[and more]

Adwords says I need to improve my ad quality to get these keywords activated.. I'm bidding $0.20 for these. I can't raise the bid anymore.

    Any solutions?

    okey dokey

    Here's some preliminary suggestions:

*Get rid of the exclamation mark, I don't think you're even allowed them.

*The keywords you've used. They will be typed by people looking for a free gas card. So don't ask them stupid questions like "Will Gas Prices Reach $6?", just god damn give them what they want "Free Gas Cards" as the heading is more likely to get a higher CTR despite it's simplicity. Plus the heading includes your targeted keyword and thus Googles algorithm will give you a better quality score.

*The text has to flow, it has to be more readable. Don't repeat sentence structure, i.e: you've used "Will Gas Prices" at the beginning of the 1st and 2nd line, I thought my eyes had skipped a line and found myself having to reread.

*To attract more attention Try Capitalising The First Letter Of Each Word In The Full Ad Text Like This

All these things will help you get a better CTR, but if your Ad quality score is lacking for any reason it's probably because you haven't got your main keyword in the heading.

See what results you get and maybe we can get some more suggestions here.

I don't like how the Headline and the 1st line of text start with the same 3 words: "Will Gas Prices"

Tip: Capitalize Every Word In Your Ad

Also, per the above post, you can have exclamation marks... I always use them. They work.

    Hope that helps.

I take it that's an affiliate ad? You need to attain a conversion rate of atleast 10% or you loose out.

Aim for less saturated keywords, where you can pay 5c a click max.

Show us your landing page, as that plays a role too. It needs to contain your keywords which will make them score as great!

Google looks at elements on the page as well. Adding a privacy policy has helped me score higher. Are you split testing different ads to try for a higher click thru rate?

Your landing page is a textbook bridge page. Doesn't matter what you bid on or do to the ad copy, you need to make that landing page part of a site. The domain is probably blacklisted now too in adwords, get a new one.
