improved my sub directories rank

    Hi.
    I want to understand how to improved my sub directories rank at my web site http://linkexchanged.us

    The main site has pr5 but all the pages in the directory link structure as pr3 and not pr4 as it should (like http://linkexchanged.us/Advertising/ )

    Any idea what can so solved this?

    deap linking will help your iner page PR here is something I have writton on inner page rank

    Deeper pages always have smaller PR than index.
    Build links to those deeper pages and your PR for that pages could grow.

    Maybe that is the way it should be, but I have a long-time situation of a PR6 page within a PR5 site. The site is an old hobby site, with at least a dozen topics.

    Its not really a situation, it could just mean that some people have been placing links to that part of your site on other websites :)

    When you are going to build links, you build links to domain.
    example: www.digitalpoint.com
    not /page.htm

    Because of that, domain (index) has always bigger PR than deeper pages.

    I agree on deep linking.I know lot of sites has this practice also to help their site to have a PR.
    Also I suggest that you try to advertise more to have more traffic.
