I am really not concentrating any more on yahoo ranking. I am not sure that it bring any business to me. I am just fan of google.

You can use Yahoo top keyword for your article to improve yahoo ranking.

    check top yahoo keywords here:

    1. Top search on Yahoo Buzz: hxxp://buzz.yahoo.com (replace hxxp with http)
    2. Top myHPF search: hxxp://www.myhpf.co.uk/mypage.asp?OrgId=54852 (replace hxxp with http)

The best and sometimes only way to improve your ranking is to have more sites link to yours.
The more sites that Yahoo crawls that has a link to your site the higher your sites ranking will go.

I was in your shoes a few years ago and I feel your pain. You can learn all the SEO in the world but if you don't have a solid step by step game plan, chances are you won't get any results.

When it comes down to it, SEO is all about

    1. Finding the right keywords to rank for

    2. Optimizing your website to rank in Google for those keywords

    3. Then building backlinks with those keywords

Of course there is a system to each of those steps but it would take all day for me to explain. You can visit my SEO blog if you get more info. It's in the resources section right below.

It's always a give and take relationship; put site quality first before stuffing it with profit making things. Concentrate on what your site does for the people who visit it, and not for long you'll get regular traffic. People going back for more. Then you'll get increased traffic-and here's the phase of your site's lifespan where you can actually think of adding all those ads and links. You need to establish the use, the quality of your site first. Common sense, right?

You have to focus on these things for Yahoo, completely different compared to Google.

    1. Keyword density and all on-page factors

    2. Number of content pages

    3. Amount of content on each page.

    4. Link Popularity - Since Yahoo count on every links regardless to its quality, so it's useless to rely on it.
