Improve SEO of a sports website

    I want to develop, good qualityt links to a sports related site. Before anyone replies, i am not interested in weight loss or erectile sites. Its sport!!

    Any suggestions on what i can do to improve the SEO?

    My budget is limited so let me know what you can offer.

    jus research on good attractive keywords 1st using wordtracker or adwords keyword tool..
    then find some directories fr links..
    and also run a search on the best keywords u got in the above method..
    go to the sites in d results and contact the webmasters fr a reciprocal link exchange or a paid placement on their site!

    Check the backlinks of your biggest competitors, and if there are any that apply to the theme of your site, request a link from those sites.

    You can build backlinks through article submission which will help you to improve
    your organic search engine traffic.

    Here are the 3 easy steps that I take to get free traffic AND improve SEO status:

    1. Type "site:blogspot.com sports" in Google
    2. Find blogs with high PageRank
    3. Post constructive comments with your link (preferably use your keyword as an anchor)

    Do this as many as possible. Soon you'll have a huge number of backlinks.

    Hey all,

    Thanks for the replies.

    Does article submission really help? Who would actually use an article belonging to someone else and include the links? Wouldnt people just take out the links ?
