Guys, I need this image improved or completely re-done. At the moment the box looks crap, more like a box to store fruit. I need it to look like a high quality display case that will make a good impression. Also, the glass needs to improve, so it actually looks like glass!

I will pay by PayPal or Moneybookers and choose a winner by next Sunday.

What do you need this banner for?
It would be better to re-do the whole banner, because that image is very low quality and the text is hard to read!

If I would re-do it, what would you still like to have in the banner?
Should the banner be the same size as the one that you've posted?

    Regards

It's going to be an image at the top of a page that will be showcasing items. I would love for people to completely re-do the banner and make a nice one!

All that I really need is the text "Nomzo showcase" inside a showcase. It doesn't event have to be wooden, it can be metal and glass. You know those ones that contain something valuable?

I'd like the width to remain between 500 - 600 px. The height is not as important.

Does it have to be a real showcase or is it possible to design one myself?

    Thx

Thanks neil, that's an instant improvement! The reflection is excellent.

One thing, I'd prefer a lighter, warmer color wood.

Glad you like it, the middle section is just basically a gradient with slightly transparent layers on top, ill change the wood tone for you now, thanks neil.

    Thanks for the entry shib.

I'm looking for the showcase to appear high quality wood, even antique. Something that you would present a precious item in. I do like the split to show where the case would open.

luvlee, The showcase is very, very good!

Only tips - lighter, warmer brown (verging on yellow). Perhaps more chiseled bevel on the top edges.

    ---

Thanks for the great work all, I have the good problem of making a difficult choice.
