Improve Alexa Ranking

what i do to increase my alexa ranking is put alexa widget in my websites and submitting my website to many classifieds site

 

Just focus on building your site, the more traffic you get the higher your rating will go. But only people with the alexa toolbar will count toward your ratings, thats why its hard to have any exact way to do it, just get traffic and it will happen!

"Alexa ranking doesn't really mean too much". I agreed but it on initial stage of SEO. My website has top 10 rankings in most of the search engines. And alexa ranking is really mean in internet marketing. It is a good step to be on follow up.

 

Get more visitors. That should help. Artificial ways of increasing Alexa ranking wont work in the long term.
I have a decent alexa ranking but i have not done anything specific for alexa.

Finally, Alexa ranking is not useful except if you are selling ad-spaces in your site.

Great list! Although it is not important for everyone, Alexa rank is very important for some people. Purchasing Alexa traffic is a good option if you have the budget but if you don't these other suggestions are excellent. Thanks again for posting this.

Thats a great post and particularly useful for me as I don't normally take much notice of Alexa even though I am aware of its ranking sites. I will from now on though

I use the rankings as 1 way of determining if a site is legit, or at least if the webmaster hopes others perceive it that way. I have one site where the 3 month average has been stuck at the same exact amount for nearly 2 weeks.

Speaking of "Redirect URL towards Alexa", is this really working? I've reviewed some related articles from the search engines, and some folks said that it ain't working at all, however, when I just checked it today, it seemed working properly. And is this really help for the alexa ranks?
