Okay I need your help on this. One of my websites is not optimized yet for AdSense. It is one of my 'quality' websites and very popular among the relatively small target group. I want to keep it 'high quality' and don't want to overload it with ads, but I do want to make some money with it. So I need your help in optimizing my site without overloading it with ads. I need your help on the following pages: the homepage, the calendar (with all Europe's airshow dates) and the pages with info about specific airshows like this. What would you suggest regarding ad types, placement and colours? Thanks in advance!
I would really try to get the ads to flow with the content, make it seem as an extension of the content, not just an additional section.
Agree to ServerUnion, and would like to add, 'do not label any ad as Sponsored Links' etc as you did on airshows page, instead you can add rectangle ad on right side within Participants table. On caleder page insert them within the flow of the calender events, not above all, and again, do not label it as Advertising.
Unfortunately the big rectangle doesn't fit in the table structure of the calendar, but I've come up with a new idea which is pretty neat I think: http://www.milaviapress.com/calendar/index.php
On first page I would add 468x60 banner below logo and above Calendar updates On calendar page I would add 468x60 banner instead of 234x60 you have added On airshow page I would add 468x60 instead of rectangular one. Or you can try adding Leaderboard on top of all pages
