Has anybody figured out a way to maximize their AdWords campaigns according to search volume fluctuations? Do search fluctuations typically follow annual business and sales dynamics?

Specifically: real estate; education; training; professional/IT services?

Thanks for any info you have. I'm trying to hone campaigns.

In my experience, the fluctuations have been quite hard to predict. I have 25 campaigns running, and each one is always up and down on a weekly basis. When I average everything together, I make a nice profit, but I wouldn't be able to survive on any single campaign by itself. Some of my campaigns make less than $20 a day, that's why I need multiple campaigns running at the same time so I don't need to worry as much about the unpredictable search volumes. As an additional safe-guard I'm involved in other programs like Top5.smmsite.com so that I'm not entirely dependent on Adwords as my only source of income.

Some people get lucky with Adwords, but in my experience, it's too unpredictable for my comfort and peace-of-mind. I'll never quit Adwords as long as I'm making a decent profit, but I'm having the same problem as you are with the search fluctuations.
