Impressions per page or per adblock?

    Does google count an impression as per page or per adblock,
    so one pageload with 3 adblocks = 3 impressions, or just 1.

    I've just changed from a single horizonatal banner to 2x small buttons and the horizontal banner on a few pages, and my impressions have gone up (but not by a factor of 3 ?!)
