I have repeated keywords in more than one adgroups and my settings are "Show better-performing ads more often". I am getting the impressions on inactive keywords. What is the reason behind it?
I also found the different different bids to active the inactive keywords in different different adgroups. Please guide me on this.

From time to time Google may reevaluate inactive keywords.

You're essentially competing against yourself (in terms of QS) when you have the same keywords in different ad groups. Why would you need to have the same keywords in different ad groups?

    hi GuyFromChicago
As i have set the setting "Show better-performing ads more often", whenever user type the keyword at that time adwords will show better performing ads at that time. By this way i am able to show different different ads for that particular repeated keywords....If i am wrong then please guide.

You would be better off adding multiple ads per ad group - not creating seperate ad groups with the same keywords and different ads.

Make 1 ad group, add your keyword, then add as many ad variations as you like.

But how to deal with high impression keywords if these keywords are really very important?
