Impressions and multiple ads

If there are two ad units on your page, does your page impressions increase by two each page load, or just the one?

 

It doesn't increase two fold. Still has impressions as if one ad was there.

Yeah, however its numbers are always less than other stat programs. Even analytics gives about 20% more pageviews, while server stat programs like awstats/webalizer give like 50% more pageviews.

 

Using adsense as your page view tracker may seem like a good idea, but it's not. As vgescape pointed out, other trackers will give you more pageviews because google is only tracking the number of times ads were shown. So, if no ads were shown, you won't get an impression.
