Impression Stats Now Available

You can see your impression stats on a per ad basis now (log into your account and click on "Stats" next to the ad).

Impression stats are going to look a little weird for a little bit... They will keep surging up as more sites get converted over to the new ad_network PHP file. Then (mostly) level off when the old ad_network PHP file doesn't work anymore.

That's pretty cool. Nice to get an idea of what sort of exposure certain weight % gets and how quickly it takes effect. Nice work Shawn.

I've been putting off the update of my code... I guess this is what I needed to motivate me

Thanks, Shawn, keep up the good work

    What fryman said :)

Shawn, just to clarify, this is counting the number of impressions local to your adserver ? (ie my site may request ad abc once from your adserver, but be showing the ad locally to 1000's before full rotation) - Just important to note that the impression figure isn't about what's actually happening at the client end - rather it's a minimum.

Maybe I have it wrong - I don't have the new code or the time to sift it just yet :)

john loch: I believe it is using a 1x1 invisible gif that is served off dp to track each ad...

Correct... It's end-user impressions (although it's only tracking for sites that have updated the PHP code).

Would it be a pain in the ass to request having the stats display all on 1 graph, instead of having to open up up-to 10 different graphs? ;) Looks good, by the way... love it. :D

not really going to make a real big difference in numbers, but there are probably more than a few people like myself who use some sort of adblocking software and have http://ads.* blacklisted and aren't ever going to load the tracking pixel

took me a minute to figure out why the charts weren't working for me either ;p
