If you know the number of clicks and the CTR, what would the formula be to figure out how many impressions there are? For example, if the number of clicks was 300 and the CTR is 6.0%, is there a formula to figure out the number of impressions? If so, can you share it. Thanks
Thanks for the reply. Math is not my strong point, so let me try an example. Using your formula: 300 x 100 = 3000 / 6.0% = 500000 impressions. I think I have to move two places to the left to get the correct impressions which would be 5000.
It really depends, results may sometimes vary, I'm not quite sure, but it averages out to what has been said above my post ^
here is the easy formula.. clicks divided by CTR % x 100 = impressions... So 300 click / 6 = 50 x 100 = 5,000 Its not how they teach you it in high school but i dont know why, its much easier and less steps and less room for error the the "real formula" which is (# x 100) divide by % ) divided by 100 = answer or my way (# divided by %) x 100 = answer... My retarded math teacher always would make it wrong because my steps were not correct even though my way is better and is correct...
