Importing blogspot content in to WP penalty?

I am getting ready to set up WP under a subdomain of my main site, but I have already started a blog at blogger. If I import my first posts, will I get a duplicate content penalty? Or should I just link blogger to my new one and continue where I left off?

Here's what I did: I moved it all over to WP, then edited each article on the blogger site simply contain a statement that the article could now be found at [permalink at WP].

I got indexed fast, great clickthrough rate, adsense clicks at both the old AND new sites. After a few months, traffic to the old site died off, but by then the new site was well established.

That's a very good strategy. It must have been a real pain to put that into each and every post, though.

Mostly boilerplate cut -n -paste, but yeah, I did need to post the specific new URL on each old post. Thank god I can usually do it in a few dedicated, focused hours. Well worth the time investment!
