Importing Blog Posts from Blogspot to Full Domain Wordpress

If I import my old blog posts from blogspot to my full domain wordpress, would the content be considered plagiarized?

I've recently created a blog for my website and have imported my previously written posts, but I'm worried about plagiarism.

Also, I have deleted the Blogger blog

Please help

 

If you import you posts from blogspot to wordpress, then delete your blogger blog or delete the blogger posts, or make it private. It will not make any duplicate content.

 

yep agreed with above post.2 different urls with unique content will plagiarized so you have to delete previous blog or unpublish to be on safe side.

 

And it would take time for working with your new site, it may take around one month, so you have to wait for this time period as well.

 

if you deleted your old blog then you should be fine

 

It won't be considered plagarized, but you might end up getting duplicate content penalty from google.

Simply deleting a website won't make Google forget about the content, you might as well just re-write each post you made on a daily basis, so that way you'll be able to rank in search engines for your new website.

 

But, I believe that even though Google doesn't shows the data in the search results (takes it out of the index), but somewhere back in his data storage, Google still has it, and it knows that the content was taken from that website.

I did import the blogs, but I was worried so I deleted the blogspot blog, but later on removed the guest posts from my website as well.

 

As you deleted your blogger blog posts so i think there is no problem .

 

Keep in mind that when deleting your blogger posts you are actually losing the link value, it will be better to forward your blogger to your new site and search engines are going to consider the new blog instead your blogger, you don't wanna start from scratch.

and if you don't care to keep your SEO juice, go on import > delete everything > start over ^^

 

Or it may be that your new site wouldn't work as your old was working after waiting for one month as well, so it is serious step I would say.

 

Well, it was a new blog anyway ☺ So not worried that much
