Important Update from Paypal for PayPal India Users : Change in User Agreement

There is no problem with paypal transactions at all. Everything is like it was used to be before.

 

Just made a payment now without any trouble......things look still fine...but not sure how long

 

Just about to withdraw my money but look at the exchange rate. I've Change my mind.
1 US Dollar = 42.9292 Indian Rupees

 

1 US Dollar is 44.44 Indian Rupees but PayPal, as every financial institute (aka Bank) have fees for the exchange and look that PayPal have the lowest fees for exchanges. What are you going to do? Using other systems? You will notice that the exchange fees are higher, much higher than PayPal.

 

They charge us with pretty high rates & still cant provide any good service ( For now all looks good) .

 

I withdraw all my balance to my Bank account.

 

IMO, that's the best conversion rate you'll get in the coming weeks. I mean I haven't seen it go beyond 43 INR in the past 7-10 days, so 42.9 is a really good deal.

 

okay I just tried to send payment and PayPal asked me to add a credit card or Debit Card which is also referred as ATM card. My question is that why PayPal is showing the option to add Debit Card when it don't accept it?

 

Yes I'm too now getting message that to send money please add credit card or ATM Card!

 

did u try adding a debit card ? maybe they support it now

just paid my server bills. It's working smoothly for me.

 

So it's working for some and stopped for some!

 

I am not able to process any payment from my paypal account. I think they have implemented all rules.

 

I think they are implementing the rules slowly.

Yes, rules are implemented, i am lucky that i got payment of over $500 yesterday and i immediatly made a withdrawal.

The best part is that it shows that we can pay via Debit card, not sure if it works or not. But its a good move.

But even then i feel Paypal India business will be down with this tom & jerry rules.

Hope they will come with some mature rules in future.

 

I tried adding Debit Card, it doesn't work. I don't understand, if we can't use Debit Card then why Paypal is showing the option. It clearly says add Debit Card which is also called ATM Card.

And its not just PayPal, several India based shopping sites and web hosting company given option to Indian users to make payment via Debit Card. I don't know why.
