Was he able to send 499 and 101? does that work perfectly? if yes, its great relief.

 

That may be foolishness
They can either take some action against you or send you a cheque that take some time to arrive and clear.

Sending funds via PP balance is blocked. Now, you can only send funds using credit card.

 

No, i just sent 2 payments today ( 20 payments in this week ) and it was from paypal balance , till now its working same for me as was for last months

 

okay, by the end of today we will have teh answer for "what they are gonna do to the money in our Paypal account in case we don't withdraw it".

One question: Are outwards payments via CC working fine?

 

may be it our job to see that we withdraw within 7 days and not of paypal. i thinking of leaving a small balance of $50 and withdrawning the rest in 7 days.

 

I am not a lawyer but what I think is

"Any balance in and all future payments into your PayPal account may not be used to buy goods or services and must be transferred to your bank account in India within 7 days from the receipt of confirmation from the buyer in respect of the goods or services."

Now that means you can take an advance 50% lets say you have taken a 400 dollar project and you took 200 USD as advance that 200 USD would not come into that 7 day range because the buyer would not give the receipt of confirmation of the goods or services until and unless whole thing is over.

Don't know but just some food for thought.

 

I just received $765 couple of minutes back. What is this, no transfer to bank has happened even after 7 days. I am able to pay any amount with my paypal balance.

Finally i got frustrated with all the confusion and called paypal up.Here is some question that you all looking answer to:-

ITs already 7th march when are we going to recive clarification about the final rules?

We are still waiting for clarification from RBI.(RBI sucks isnt it?)

What exactly happens to the money if i am unable to withdraw within 7 days?
Your account can get limited.

Do i get any warning about a payment whose 7 day deadline is reaching?

What about the charges for funds withdrawal below 7k limit
IT will be removed in future.

According to the above message - it seems mass payment is allowed. Could anyone please confirm if you are a filesonic member or using any other file host and received the payment into your Paypal last week.

I paid Copyscape.com today using PayPal. I intended to use the CC only, but when paying via CS, it didn't even give me the option
