Important Update from Paypal for PayPal India Users : Change in User Agreement

WRONG. Works with HDFC Vcc.
Pay directly, with out adding the card to your paypal Account. I tried just now.

Payments within india will no longer work though, Neither through CC Nor CC Nor Paypal balance. A Indian user will NO LONGER be able to send payment inside india even with a CC.

 

My method from next month :

For the payments above 500 USD, i am going to use a friend's verified PP from UK.
Which will be doing MASS PAYMENTS to my paypal split below 500 USD whenever i need to withdraw.

For other client payments, i will use MY paypal.

For the payments of invoices or any expense, gonna use HDFC VCC & another platinum CC and yes IT CAN BE USED TO PAY ANYWHERE National /International invoices without any issues. I have used it before too. Yes, i will be facing 2-3% Loss in profits, courtesy Assf*** PP & R*B*I.

I am starting to hate all these political stuff, starting march many people freelancers in india will be ruined.
We need to get a NEWS CHANNEL cover this, we need to take an initiative guys by collaborating, we just can not stay like this.

Lets setup a website, write over a letter of petition where all of us go to sign up as a signature and send it over to NEWS CHANNELS.
iT will come to news Instantly.

Thank You India and Indian Govt. I think I am done with you. Going some other place. No matter what it takes. At least other countries people get punished for their own deeds not just because of belonging to a country.

You can not send payment from a Indian CC to an indian paypal account. I tried this and it didn't work even with HDFC vcc. Indian paypal accounts cannot receive money from Indian paypal accounts through CC, that's what the error said.

Now, About using a UK account, The problem is about trust and secondly, if you start accessing the account from India, the account may get limited, and lead to hastle of verification etc.

 

I do not use INDIAN CC to pay to INDIAN PAYPAL.
For india to India, I will be using the BANK TRANSFERS into my HDFC accounts.
Your error is correct.

There is no way to use PP TO PP if you are in india.

And about UK account, first thing i trust that guy , positive thing.
I will be accessing it may be 2-3 times only rest of the times i will email that guy to pay my invoices for hosting servers or may be do a MASS PAY to my accounts.


And the account is already verified over there with a BANK ACCOUNT, so i dont think it will of any issues.

Well, I just created a VCC and completed transaction through Paypal.
But in my Panel, i.e netsafe it still shows Rs 0.00 as the amount being deducted from the card, and Status Says : IN USE

 

Ok here is the thing :

1. Are you trying to VERIFY your PP with VCC... if yes, then go for the VERIFICATION inside your account, then PAYPAL will charge 1.95 USD which in few moments will be deducted from your VCC and give your EXPUSE number to you.

2. If you are trying to make payments via VCC to any paypal account, DO NOT add it to your PP, just directly do the payment, PAYPAL shows both options when u go for the payments, just choose the CC option and complete the transaction.

Let me know if i left out anything.

 

Yes can't able to send payment to other Indian user via paypal balance. This not fair as they informed it will happen from March 1st.

 

This is exactly what i did.
I wanted to test this. So i created a VCC Worth 10 INR and paid someone $0.10 Everything was successful. I got receipt mail and funds was also received in paypal.
But my vcc dosen't seem to be charged. Look here :

 

This very frustrating for all indian user. again bad luck of us.

This is already happening from long time. I use CC(attached to PP) to make payments online and getting error when i send payments to Indian paypal account.

 

Exactly, although users with NetBanking do not really need this feature, but still, it's has been always faster and easier to pay with Paypal. But now Payments within India will be completed Stopped and outside india will be restricted to CC or VCC.
