Its no big deal, actually both PayPal and RBI suck.

    # RBI sucks for their rules and shit. They don't fucking solve problems and even if we try and do them, all they worry about is their taxes and how to loot them off the country. They don't give a damn about how people would survive with all these dark age rules, when others are actually zooming to the next frontier.

    # PayPal sucks too, all these rules are basically to get all incoming revenue to be notified to RBI and IT department of India. So, why not they make the PAN a mandate option and give a detailed report to the country about the payments we do in them. Also if that is too tough, let them send 10% of the payment to IT as TDS and then we recover them back from the departments via returns.

I really can't understand why can they not think of these simple things to solve the problem, rather than shitting with us. Shutting down operations and services is always a no go for progress. I hope they could come back and fix this in someway, without affecting the spirits of the young souls, who work hard to get benefits to both sides.

PS: If PayPal is no more a service in India, then why do they charge fees on all the shit. They need to be put down or reduced.

Why against RBI? I'm really shocked when people blaming RBI! You people nothing doing good for us but PayPal only! If you force RBI then it's only matter of time when RBI suspend PayPal service!

PayPal have no respect to follow RBI guidelines which suggest that they need to give information to PayPal but they're not doing it!

So understand facts before jump on wrong way.

I find funny, amused and sad that it's only COMMON People, SMBs, small enterprenures, freelancers who are being targated but those who have stashed Trillion dollar in Swiss Banks are happily enjoying and neither RBI or Govt. reluctant to take any steps.

You are bringing wrong party involved here! India have FEMA acts since 1999! Also RBI doesn't wants any fees or other things, they only asking documents information of Account holders similar to Indian banks like ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank and others! If Banks which do more business then PayPal send information then why PayPal have an issue?

    Totally a bigmess damm it

Once again copy paste work from Paypal

I think Paypal was hired by some one to do copypaste work

Paypal really s**** and there is no alternative for us ...

In my view paypal will loose there business not only in India but from other places too bcoz Most of the indians are hired by foreigners and they prefer to pay through Paypal and i saw large percentage of them use paypal if we don't accept paypal payments surely they will shift so its a big deal for PAYPAL to decide

    am i right?

Yes. You can add your debit card to your Paypal account. In fact, I am using Payoneer debit card as a additional source of funds, when there is no enough balance in my paypal account, paypal takes money from my Payoneer card.

Those are using Credit Card for accepting the payments from clients can also use AlertPay and moneybookers, their charges are quite similar to paypal.

    Alright, enough blaming,

I can think of 2 options:

    1. Go to ICICI bank and open an 20,000 FD and get your credit card.

    2. If you don't have a Payoneer Master Debit card then get one, I know it's blocked in India but you can still use this card for your domain/ hosting purchases. Most of the times it works as a credit card.

The only problem is if you need to pay someone in his PayPal account and inorder to do so you have to have a CC attached to your PayPal account

All they could do is link the PAN card with paypal account and let RBI monitor it.

I am a student so I can't get a Credit card. I am worried about my $500 + earnings from cpa campaigns. Shit.
