Important Update from Paypal for PayPal India Users : Change in User Agreement

Well just want to confirm, can I use addon credit card now for making purchases just like a usual one? Coz..it will take time before I apply for mine.

 

Guess eveyone is not like you. There are many who is good enough to receives more than $500
As for making purchases, I will have to convert $ to Rs and then back to $. I will be loosing around 10% in this unnecessary conversions.($ to Rs = Rs2/$. Similar for Rs to $. So its around Rs4/$ is ABOUT 10% at current exchange rates).

 

Get an account with atleast Rs 25000 minimum balance with banks like HDFC or ICICI and u will get a credit card in about 2 weeks time.

 

What will happen to our existing balance if we don't withdraw to our bank account?

 

We are suffering in the fight of paypal and rbi. We are doing discussion here and the discussion here. Nor rbi listens us nor paypal. Main thing is this, that most of the buyers use paypal not other payment gateways. Paypal is the biggest payment gateway and we cannot stop using it. We get less business if we use other gateways. Right now we need someone to raise our voice in parliament. Not only 1 or 2 parliament members should do that. Many should do so that we can get some relaxation. They should say that the companies which are working in the IT field and are dealing with people worldwide should be free from FEMA or something like that should happen. We should now to a solution so that we dont face these problems anymore which we have to face regularly. Whenever something like this happen we have to bear the loss. We have to pay for server, domains, plugins, script, licenses etc.

Like me there are number of people who dont want to use a credit card. What should we do then? and if we use a debit card then the cost is too much... The currency conversion charges are going to kill us.

Most problem happen to people who are doing this for their living...

If I sold a site for $10k shall i say my client to send 20 payments each of $500 ? is that sounds practical?

There are many things like this. People live at different places. We cannot meet nor we can do those "HADTALS".

I think that the best would be to contact the parliament members and convince them. Tell them our problems and if 50 parliament members raise our voices in parliament then I am sure that we will get to a solution.

I have talked over Phone with PayPal and I have tried to answer where the impact of this policy will be on my blog here. If you have more questions you can shoot me your queries and I will be more than happy to answer to the extent I can and ask PayPal when I call them.

nah if you tell to one joker in that parliament with paypal takes 3% of fee around 100 crores they will look that matter

 

Guys here is the solution i came up with finally. one of my online friend suggested me to go for..
As far as taking payments i will use paypal. I don't trust that. Show me something on Paypal.com itself.

 

I have one doubt

If i receive payment from client1, $5 on 1st
receiving payment $10 from client2 on 2nd
receiving payment $13 from client3 on 3rd

I suppose to withdraw $5 received from client1 on 7th
second client payment on 8th
third client payment on 9th.

If i withdraw such a small amount on daily i suppose to lose Rs.50 daily.

Shall i withdraw at the end of week the after receiving all the total payment from all the client ???


Please explain what will happen in this case.
